Merisa has had an environmental management system validated according to ISO 14001 since 1998. Special attention is paid to the environment and its sustainability in all product developments and investments in the production plant. In the development of our products, environmental compatibility is a fundamental part of the requirements profile, along with value retention and occupational safety. The required environmental compatibility refers both to the production process and to the raw and auxiliary materials used. When selecting raw materials, merisa attaches great importance to high environmental compatibility and sustainability. Renewable surfactant raw materials are preferred if their production is based on sustainability and not on overexploitation in the producing countries. This ensures that the formulation of the products has an environmentally friendly basis.
